AGM and Technical Talk

21 April 2015

Following the formalities of the branch AGM, a very interesting technical talk was presented by Professor Michael Davies, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Sussex, on the topic

Geotechnical Implications of the 2010-2011 Canterbury Earthquake Sequence

His talk covered geotechnical observations and implications of these earthquakes, such as surface fault rupture, rockfalls, liquefaction and lateral spreading.
