COVID-19 Pandemic Help Sheet

Much of the information below was collated by the NZ Business Women's Network and we are grateful for the work they have put into this, and for sharing it with other NZ Community Groups.
  • NZ High Commission London

The NZ High Commission have drawn together information for New Zealanders in the UK which is available on their Website.

They will continue to update this information as the situation develops or when there is further information to share.

  • Supporting Kiwis

We're all acutely aware of the financial impact self-isolation is having on businesses, large and small.

During this uncertain time, please think about how you can support some of the Kiwi businesses in our Kiwi Community. Check out this handy Guide to NZ Businesses in London on the NZ Business Women's Network website.

Buy their products and services if you can, plus here are 4 simple other ways to support them:

    1) Follow their social accounts, 'like', comment on and share their posts.

    2) Leave them a review.

    3) Recommend them to others.

    4) Buying a voucher to use in the future could provide a cashflow lifeline now.

Here are a few Kiwi businesses to get you started.
    • Crosstown Doughnuts - they do delivery and if you're able to, order to pick-up if a store is local (see their new fruit & veg delivery offer below).

    • Coffee Suppliers - no need to suffer inferior coffee just because you're working from home. Get your coffee beans (ground to suit your machine), pods, equipment etc., straight to your door from these fabulous caffeine creators:

    • Wine - For an exceptional selection of new world wines shipped to your door, head to Specialist Cellars.

    • Entertainment - a number of performers have had to cancel their shows. Why not go to your usual online music platforms and buy some Kiwi music. Also, take a look at Music Glue, a Kiwi e‑commerce business based in London.

    • NEW: The Crosstown Collective - Crosstown have teamed up with Independent London businesses The Estate Dairy, Millers Bakery and their local fruit & veg supplier to deliver across London seven days a week - early to late.

"We have never faced a moment like this in living memory. In this time of great need, we need to join together and focus on the fundamentals that we control. In our case, we can deliver the best food to our community with our partners, utilising our supply lines, logistics and distribution channels." ‑ JP Then, Crosstown.

Help support The Crosstown Collective, order a Food Box.

  • Caring for Children

    Emergency Childcare Cover

To support families who are struggling to find childcare, Kiwi Oz Nannies have been registering additional nannies and have introduced an Emergency Childcare Cover package at a greatly reduced rate for anyone who has temporary, indefinite, childcare requirements.

Please share with friends and families who may need extra support.
